Weather in Fiji
Fiji enjoys a beautiful year-round tropical climate, making it perfect for beach holidays at any time of year.
With daytime temperatures almost always between 26 - 32 degrees Centigrade (approx. 80 - 90 degrees Fahrenheit), there's rarely the need - if ever - to wear anything other than shorts, t-shirts, summer dresses or swimwear.
Fiji Weather Seasons
March - November is the Fiji dry season, offering slightly cooler temperatures and only occasional light rainfall as a general rule. The timing of the dry season makes Fiji a favourite winter escape for Australians and New Zealanders, as well as a perfect summer destination for northern hemisphere visitors.
December - April is the rainy season in Fiji, which, as in any tropical climate, tends to consist of heavy but brief localised showers, with very warm and clear weather either side. The higher temperatures between December and February mean that Fiji is a popular southern hemisphere summer holiday destination.
As with any tropical destination the weather in Fiji is largely predictable, following established seasonal patterns.
